The session and congregation, trusting in the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, adopted and committed to the following ministry priorities through Pentecost of 2013:

Our Relationships
We will deepen relationships by developing small group ministries and increasing the number of fellowship activities in our church and homes.

Trained Lay Leadership
We will encourage lay leadership for small groups, pastoral care, outreach and service by offering a well-developed training and education program.

Young Adult Ministry
We will strengthen and support young adults by expanding our ministries and outreach to young adults and young families.

Assimilation of New People
We will develop effective and consistent ways to improve assimilation of new people to Gateway in a way that reflects the ethnic diversity of our community.

Serving our Community
We will become the church that serves the community by discovering ministry opportunities and developing a mechanism to engage our congregation in those ministries.

Inviting People to Follow Jesus
We will be intentional in giving people the opportunity to invite Jesus Christ into their lives as Savior and Lord in our worship services, retreats, special dinners, and at children and youth events.

Faithful Stewards of our Resources
We will encourage each other through prayer and Biblical understanding to a faithful stewardship of time, talent, and treasure for the furthering of God’s Kingdom.
