Cultivating A Culture of Peace

Gateway's Peacemaking Ministry is designed to provide structure and guidance to our church family so that its members are equipped with the tools they need to truly live out the gospel in their relationships and, as a result, experience the blessings of peace that follow: strengthened marriages and families, healthier churches, and a thriving, gospel-centered ministry.

The Peacemaking Team consists of trained coaches who help fellow believers and seekers respond to conflict biblically by:

• Listening so as to understand together both the material concerns and personal issues involved.
• Teaching biblical principles for resolving conflict.
• Clarifying personal responses that will glorify God, serve others and imitate Christ.
• Exploring steps towards forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration.

Reconciliation is at the core of our Christian faith. Jesus led the way by reconciling us to God through the cross.
